What are Made to Order Caricatures?
Made to Order Caricatures are NOT for commercial use but for personal use, which would be for your Facebook, Twitter background, profile picture or for a gift.
These are not the caricatures that I do at parties or events. Those only take about 5-10 minutes. These take hours to make. If you’re looking for a caricature artist for a party or event, please feel free to book me for a party or an event if you like!
Keep in mind that these are caricatures, not still portraits. I draw the caricatures to look like YOU (or at least the picture you provide). The goal is to catch your personality and resemblance. People need to look at it and immediately know it’s you. So, that means I won’t be able to take requests to draw the caricature a “particular way”.
Head and Shoulders Above the Rest!
Hand drawn with pencil in black and white and shaded for depth on paper then scanned and emailed to you. It’s head and shoulders in some pose and with some sort of gesture I think is entertaining. I’ll take suggestions for poses or props. I can digitally color for a small additional amount. Each additional person in the drawing is an additional $5.
Full-bodied and Robust!
Hand drawn with pencil in black and white and shaded for depth on paper then scanned and then emailed to you. If you want it digitally colored for a little extra, I can do that too. This is a full body with a pose of some sort that is sure to make you smile. I’ll take suggestions as well. Each additional person in the drawing is an additional $15.
Providing a Picture:
When you provide a picture to work from I would prefer to have one that is clear and best captures the features and personality of the person. I suggest not using a studio picture because they are usually “adjusted” and don’t necessarily show the personality. Multiple pictures are great and from different angles is great too. Remember, the caricature is based off of the picture. Make sure you’re okay with the hairstyle or if you were glasses or not or if you have a beard in the picture but not currently.
